Mia, Lucie, Lisa and Camille flew to Czech Republic in November 2017. They spent a wonderful week in Ceska Lipa where they met students from the five other countries. They had the opportunity to be hosted in families and got on really well with their partners. They really loved the Czech school and told everything about it to their friends once they came back to France. This week was incredible for all of us!

Christmas cards

In December 2017, every day at lunch break students from the school came to the club to make Christmas cards for our partners. It was the occasion for them to work together, all aged collaborating. It was also a moment when students from the club could talk about it to other students and talk about our partners.  The atmosphere was cheerful and students were busy making their cards.

They were really excited when they got letters from the partners' countries.

Meeting the manager of a restaurant in Le Mans,

working on ecotourism

On Tuesday 24th, September, we met Mr Briant, the manager of the restaurant Le Verger and the creator of the “Domaine de l’Epau” to interview him about ecotourism.

He told us that the “Domaine de l’Epau” is made of a restaurant, a cafeteria and lodges. In the restaurant you can celebrate weddings, birthdays and seminars.

He explained that they use only organic or local foodstuffs in the restaurant. They compost all their natural garbage and they will soon use solar energy.

The lodges are not built yet. They will be eco-lodges with solar energy and water reuse, and adapted for disabled people.

Mr Briant created its own lagoon to treat the water they use: the water stays in ponds to be purified by plants.
