ZŠ Špičák in the frame of international project hosted children and teacher from 5 countries
4.12. 2017, SBARTOVA
As part of the project, the selected pupils and teachers will visit all cities involved in the project (each city spends 1 week), the output of which is mainly to improve the English language, to learn different cultures and to create an audiovisual guide to their city.
The first host country, however, became Česká Lípa (From 19 November to 25 November 2017).
On Sunday, all pupils and teachers from different parts of Europe were expected to arrive. Foreign pupils were accommodated in the families of elementary school pupils (involved in the project), and foreign teachers were accommodated either in the families of other cantors or in the hotel. Thanks to this step, the stud and language barrier broke out immediately among the pupils.
Immediately on the first day, he was on a day trip to the regional city of Liberec. The pupils also had a walking stop at Sloup in Čechách, where everyone enjoyed a beautiful view of the surroundings from the Na Stráži Lookout Tower. Then it was heading straight to Liberec. Here they were introduced the square with the town hall, the local info centre, the old tram connection and the heights to the biggest dominant – Jested. Especially for pupils and teachers from Hungary and Denmark, the trip was very engaging; as you will only find the hills in the hills if you go to the neighbouring countries (the surface of these countries is very low). On the way to the summit, the pupils came across a great surprise in the form of a distinctive snow cover – which meant that someone had hit a snow ball there. After returning from Ještěd, there was another stop in OC Nisa, where everyone was gathering new energy for the trip home.
Tuesday afternoon was purely sporting, as the FIB ČESKÁ LÍPA Super League match against FBŠ BOHEMIANS PRAGUE played a coincidence, so our steps went in this direction. All pupils and teachers enjoy the atmosphere in vain. You can see foreign-language children who cannot speak a word of Czechoslovakia to cheer ČESKÁÁÁ LÍÍÍPA was absolutely stunning. After the game, he left for lunch in a separate school canteen, where all Erasmus + members were eating for the whole week. After O, everyone gathered in the meeting room where each country presented their video about their “school”. This has not ended for any of us since he was followed by a 3-hour dance marathon as part of a school disco …
Wednesday morning was much more peaceful. The pupils waited for a school tour by competing with terrible assignments at different locations. After the tour, the children went to find out how the lessons were going on at the Czech school when they went to class together with our children together. The afternoon program was prepared by Česká Lípa. The members of the project invited the town hall for a small treat, where there was a brief sitting with questions answered by the Vice-Mayor. We finally ended the day with a cultural experience in the enchanting Czech-Moravian Museum.
On the fourth day he started in a lecture room where a competition was held: “How did he watch school?” Pupils and teachers responded to the inquisitive questions where the only indication was an interesting picture from the elementary school environment. At the end of the competition, everyone moved to a sports experience in gym. Here was a floor ball tournament for all involved. Even the attending teachers who eventually won (some children, for example, France played floor ball for the first time in their lives) were involved in the game. After lunch, the headmaster of ŠPIČÁK ZŠ headed a delegation to visit Česká Lípa, where as an experienced historian he told various stories and circumstances that took place in Česká Lípa during the course of history.
The last Friday was the production of T-shirts in the centre of textile printing and the visit to Česká Lípa – Water Castle. Eventually they all had a break so that they could enjoy the atmosphere of our city last time. After graduation with Česká Lípa, the competition went back to school to evaluate all competitions such as: Instagram competition for the most beautiful photo for the whole stay (if anyone wants to see, enter: #spicakerasmus), Erasmus + logo competition, presentations (pupils should create during a visit, a presentation from the places they visited), etc.
After the evaluation of the competitions, the ceremony was handed over, after which it was only possible to end the meeting in Česká Lípa and unfortunately to say goodbye to all of them.
Finally, I would like to thank the school management for the support, Mgr. Alena Zelinková and Bc. Jan Havlásek for help in preparation and demanding flawless realization, Mgr. Dana Bílá and Pavel Kožani for help during the visit.
